About Rubidium
Rubidium is a free and open-source rendering engine replacement for Minecraft that dramatically improves frame rates and reduces micro-stutter. It rewrites the rendering pipeline to be more efficient, resulting in smoother gameplay on any hardware.
What Rubidium Adds
Rubidium replaces Minecraft's rendering engine with a modern, optimized version. It improves chunk rendering, reduces CPU overhead, and eliminates graphical stuttering. Players typically see 2-4x FPS improvement depending on hardware.
